Prior to West Point: Played high school basketball at Prestonwood Christian Academy, located in Plano, Texas… Her senior season in 2024-25, Swindell named TAPPS 6A MVP, TAPPS 6A All-District First Team, TAPPS 6A All-State First Team and TABC High School Player Of The Year… Received TAPPS 6A Second Team All-State, TAPPS 6A First Team All-District and Defensive Player of the Year for Prestonwood her junior season (2023-24)… Named TAPPS 6A Second Team All-District TAPPS 6A Honorable Mention and Offensive Player of the Year for Prestonwood when she was a sophomore (2022-23), plus earned TAPPS 6A Second Team All-District, TAPPS 6A District Co-Newcomer of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year for Prestonwood and TAPPS 6A Honorable Mention her freshman year (2021-22)… Gathered several years of AUU experience, first playing two years on the Under Armour circuit playing for Texas U before switching to the EYBL circuit where she played for Drive Nation for two years, then played for her local AAU team, BIQ, her final season… Off the court, was a member of the National Honor Society for three years, received the Academic Excellence Honor Roll all four years of high school and graduated magna cum laude… Served with her church abroad taking mission trips to Dominican Republic and Canada, plus volunteered at volunteered at underprivileged schools in Dallas and for Team Connor, a non-profit that spreads awareness about childhood cancer… Her father, Jeremy Swindell, played collegiate baseball at the University of Houston, then went on to play minor league baseball for the Detroit Tigers.
