Spring 2017: Kicked off the spring with a four-under-par, 68, against Florida Atlantic… Finished first at the Hayt Invitational shooting 210 (-6)… At the Seahawk Invitational placed T5th after scoring 217 (+1)… Led the Black Knights at the Augusta Invite scoring 211 (-5) on the weekend… Placed T6th at the VGA Collegiate Invite with a score of 216 (E)… Finished first at the Patriot League Championships after scoring 200 (-10) with a league record seven-under-par on the second round…Advanced to the NCAA Regional where he would finish the three day tournament after scoring 75-75-72 – 222 (+6)… Named the Patriot League Golfer of the Year ... GCAA PING All-Region for the fourth time in his career ... AAA Award Winner.
Fall 2016: Started off the fall at the Alex Lagowitz Memorial Invite finishing the two-day tournament with 228 (+12)… At the Fighting Illini Invitational finished T36th after shoot 221 (+5) over three rounds… Defeated his Navy opponent 2-and-1… Led the Black Knights at the Price’s “Give Em Five” Invite going 209 (-7) over three rounds.
Spring 2016: Competed for Army in five of six spring tournaments including NCAA Regionals … also a member of the Patriot League Championship squad that won the team title … was the Black Knights’ top finisher at the NCAA showing … tied for seventh to force a playoff for the chance to advance to the NCAA Championships … went five-over at the Championship Course in Albuquerque, N.M with scores of 71-79-71—221 … was named a GCAA PING Northeast All-Region recipient … placed fourth at the league championships with a one-under score to earn All-Patriot League first team honors … finished the season with one top-five appearance and three finishes in the top-10 … averaged 73.48 strokes through 21 rounds … represented the Black Knights in the Patriot All-America where he played in honor of 1LT Dimitri del Castillo who was killed in action while serving in Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.
Fall 2015: Competed for Army in four fall events … earned AAA Athlete of the Week honors after earning two crucial points in the Star Match against Navy … partnered with Nick Turner during four-ball and won, 2 up, over Tallman and Mauer … defeated Terminello, 1 up, during the individuals round … played alongside Parker Harris in the foursomes round versus Yale and finished all-square … defeated Wang, 2 up, in the individuals round … placed tied for ninth at the Doc Gimmler … carded a 70-68-72—210 (E) … led the team in birdies (13) at the Price’s Give ‘Em Five Invitational … finished T-52 with 220 strokes … averaged 72.57 strokes this fall ... won the 113th Met Amateur in August of 2015 … defeated Snouffer of Seton Hall, 1 up.
Spring 2015: Represented Army West Point in five spring tournaments … finished tied for eighth at the Patriot League Championships to earn All-Patriot League Second Team honors … placed third at the Gary Freeman Invitational at seven-over … led the team at the Bandon Dunes Championship … carded a 71-73—144 to place t13th … tied for third at the Seahawk Intercollegiate with a 54-hole total of 218 … was the team’s second-best finisher at the Met Intercollegiate … placed tied for eighth with 221 strokes … totaled 13 rounds in the spring … averaged a team-low 73.24 strokes on the year.
Fall 2014: Competed for Army in all three fall tournaments and in the Star match against Navy … part of first-place team at Colgate Invitational … finished tied for fifth after shooting a seven-over par … was Army's top finisher at the ETSU Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate … shot a 75-71 (+3) and placed tied for 35th … helped the team to a fourth-place finish at the Doc Gimmler … finished 13th after carding a final-round 67 with an overall score of two-below par … round of 67 (-3) was the team's lowest of the fall … was paired with Justin Pagila for Army-Navy four-ball … defeated Fricke and Keene one up … topped Terminello of Navy 3-and-2 in Army-Navy singles for Army's 10th point of the weekend … totaled eight rounds in the fall and 577 strokes … average score was 72.13.
Spring 2014: Competed in the NCAA Tournament tying for 31st overall at 5 over par ... finished fourth in NCAA Regional Round scoring 73-72-76--221 (+5) ... PING All-Region Team (Northeast) ... Patriot League Most Outstanding Golfer and Most Outstanding Rookie ... First Team All-Patriot League ... won the individual title at the Patriot League Championship by five shots and finished 73-66-70--209 (-1) ... finished 2nd at Wildcat Invitational just three over par ... competed in 18 rounds averaging a score of 73.5 ... team MVP ... Patriot League Golfer of the Month, Apr. 2014.
Fall 2013: Played nine rounds over three tournaments ... posted a scoring average of 73.11 ... shot two rounds of even par or better ... posted a -1 71 in the first round of the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate ... finished the event with a 74-71-72--217 (+1) ... just missed matching that effort at the Pacific Invitational ... carded a 74-72-72--218 (+5) ... scored two points in the Star Match versus Navy ... teamed with fellow rookie Justin Pagila for a 3 and 1 win in four ball ... earned a 2-up win in his individual match.
Background: Two-time American Junior Golf Association champion … recorded nine top-10 finishes in AJGA events … was ranked No. 3 nationally in the class of 2013 by the AJGA when he arrived at West Point … four-time First Team All-State honoree … won the 2012 New Jersey high school crown … captured 2013 sectionals by firing a 64.
