Krissy Kowalski joined Army West Point in April 2025 as Assistant Director of Athletic Communications.

In her first season on the Banks of the Hudson, Kowalski worked with the women’s soccer, sprint football, gymnastics, women’s lacrosse, and golf programs. Her programs saw historic success, with the women’s soccer team earning two major Patriot League awards and tying for the most All-Patriot League selections in program history, as well as securing its first Patriot League Tournament Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance since 2011. Additionally, the women’s lacrosse program captured its first-ever Patriot League Regular Season Championship title, produced its first Tewaaraton Finalist, and earned its first NCAA Tournament victory. Kowalski also led communication efforts for both the 2026 ECAC Men’s Gymnastics Championships and the 2026 Patriot League Golf Championships, each hosted by Army West Point.

Kowalski arrived at West Point from Bowling Green State University, where she served as a Strategic Communications Coordinator. In this role, she was responsible for all communication efforts for the ice hockey, tennis, and men’s and women’s golf teams.

The Manhasset, N.Y., native graduated with a Master of Arts in Communication and a certificate in Athletic Leadership from Clemson University in May 2024. Kowalski was a two-year letterwinner on the lacrosse team and a member of Clemson’s first-ever women’s lacrosse program.

During her time at Clemson, she worked as a graduate student assistant in the athletic communications department, supporting a variety of sports programs, including football and soccer. While working with the Tigers, both the men’s and women’s soccer programs advanced to the College Cup, with the men’s team winning its second national championship in three years. Additionally, Kowalski worked with the gymnastics program during its inaugural season, notably assisting with the first-ever home gymnastics meet in Clemson, S.C.

Before her time with the Tigers, Kowalski was a member of the Penn women’s lacrosse team from 2018–2022, where she was a four-year letterwinner with the Red and Blue. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a minor in American Sign Language in May 2022.
