Spring 2018: Team Captain ... To kick off the year, compete at the Patriot All-America Invitational at The Wigwam Arizona, finishing with marks of 70-76-80—226 (+16) for 76th place … Took first place in a head-to-head competition with Florida Atlantic after carding a score of 70 (-1) … During the Loyola Intercollegiate finished with marks of 75-73-70—218 (+2) for 34th place … Took 48th at the Palmetto Intercollegiate with scores of 75-70-77—222 (+12) … Helped Army place 11th at the Seahawk Intercollegiate after posting scores of 76-74-77—227 (+11) … Finished as Army’s top competitor taking home the 30th spot … At the Wofford Invitational placed third following marks of 66-66-77—209 (-7) … At the Patriot League Championship, placed 10th with a score of 78-75-75—228 (+12) … Helped Army finish as Co-Patriot League Runner-Ups … Earned All-Patriot League Second Team Honors and was named a Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar by the Golf Coaches Association of American (GCAA).
Fall 2017: Team Captain … Teamed up with Nick Turner during the Bush Cup head-to-head competition against Stanford … Helped Army finish tied for fourth at the Hartford Hawks Invitational with a score of 73-73-73—219 (+3), which was good enough for 31st place … Defeated his Navy opponent 4-and-3… Teamed up with Max Messner during the head-to-head competition against Navy … Helped Army finish tied for 10th at the Windon Memorial with a score of 72-72-68—212 (+2), which was good enough for 17th place.
Junior Year
Spring 2017: Kicked off the spring with a four-under-par, 68, against Florida Atlantic… Was the second Black Knight to finish scoring 220 (+5)… At the Seahawk Invitational finished 28th after scoring 229 (+13)… Completed the Augusta Invite T51st scoring 220 (+4) over the weekend… Placed T6th at the VGA Collegiate Invite with a score of 216 (E)… At the Patriot League Championships finished T11th scratching 213 (+3).
Fall 2016: Did not see varsity action.
Sophomore Year
Spring 2016: Was one of two Army golfers to compete in all tournaments this year … member of the NCAA Regional team and also a member of the Patriot League Championship squad that won the team title … named the Patriot League Golfer of the Year after clinching the individual title at the league championship in record breaking fashion … set a new record for lowest score at the event with an 11-under 66-69-67—202 … led the field by nine shots … earned GCAA PING Northeast All-Region, All-Patriot League first team and Academic All-Patriot League distinction … was the team’s second-best finisher at the NCAA Regional (t-57th) … tied for fourth at the Wofford Invitational this spring after going seven-under … voted the team's Most Valuable Player ... averaged a team-low 72.27 strokes on the season through 26 rounds.
Fall 2015: Competed in all five events for Army this fall … paired with Nick Turner during the foursomes round in the inaugural Bush Cup versus Yale … defeated Lai, 5-and-4, in the individuals round … earned two crucial points in the Star Match against Navy … partnered with Matt Plunkett and the two defeated Terminello and Peters, 1 up, in the four-ball round … downed Terminello, 1 up, in the individuals round … was Army’s top finisher at the Price’s Give ‘Em Five Invitational … tied a career-low and program-low score of 66 in Sunday’s final round … placed t-11th after carding a 70-74-66—210 (-6) and sinking two eagles … finished t-38th at the Golfweek Conference Challenge with a four-over 220 … ranked t-25th at the Doc Gimmler with 214 total strokes at four-over … averaged 71.56 strokes through nine rounds this fall to have the second lowest on the team.
Freshman Year
Spring 2015: One of three golfers to compete for Army West Point at all six spring tournaments … carded a 75-77-73—225 to tie for 14th at the Patriot League Championships … carded a team-low round of 66 at the Coca-Cola Wofford Invitational … combined a 66-76-70—212 (-4) to tie for ninth … placed eighth at the Gary Freeman Invitational with 229 strokes … carded a 71-78—149 at the Bandon Dunes Championship … totaled a 76-72-73—221 at the Seahawk Intercollegiate where he placed eighth … finished t27th at the Met Intercollegiate after combing an 85-78 for 163 strokes … totaled 16 rounds in the spring and averaged 73.50 strokes this season.
Fall 2014: Had an outstanding fall campaign as a freshman … competed in all three fall tournaments and in the Star match against Navy … was Army’s top finisher at Colgate Invitational and Doc Gimmler tournaments … part of first-place team at Colgate invitational … finished in second (-1) … one stroke behind leader … carded a 206 (-4) at the Doc Gimmler to tie for seventh … carded a season-low 68 (-2) during the second round … team placed fourth … was Army’s second-best finisher at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate … shot three-over … was paired with fellow plebe Willis Huynh for Army-Navy four-ball … the duo defeated Jonas and Won one up … individually topped Tallman of Navy in Army-Navy singles 2-and-1 … sank a putt on the 17th to clinch match … was AAA Play of the week 9.28.14 … totaled eight rounds in the fall and 568 … averages a score of 71.00.
Background: Named the League MVP in 2013 … was the CIF Champion in 2012 … ranked the top-70 Junior Golfer in the nation … participated in the United States Junior Amateur Championship in 2013 … was named to the Academic All-America Honor Roll in 2012 … earned All-League accolades in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014.
