No. 11 Men's Lacrosse to Take On Yale at Michie Stadium

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The No. 11 Army West Point men's lacrosse team (2-0, 0-0 Patriot League) is set to take on Yale (0-0, 0-0 Ivy League) for its third game of the season. The matchup will take place at 12 p.m. ET at Michie Stadium.

LAST TIME OUT

The Black Knights won their first road contest of their 2026 campaign with an 11-9 win over No. 18 Rutgers.
Senior attacker Gunnar Fellows led Army to the win scoring four goals in the contest as four Black Knights tallied two or more goals in the game.
Goalkeeper Sean Byrne recorded 13 saves, keeping the game close and allowing Army to take the lead in the fourth quarter.
Evan Plunkett totaled three assists to move him to a career assists total of 64 - tying him for 15^th in program history in career assists.

National Ranking: After starting the season ranked 12^th in the USILA Coaches Polls, Army's 2-0 start has moved the team up to the 11^th spot in the USILA and Inside Lacrosse Media Poll.
Tewaaraton Watch List: Seniors Evan Plunkett and Sean Byrne earned selection to the 2026 Tewaaraton Award Watch List. This is Plunkett's third consecutive season earning recognition to the list. Byrne was placed on the Tewaaraton Top 25 list following last season's strong performance totaling 147 saves and a save percentage of .607.
Sophomore Season: The Black Knights sophomores have tallied for half of the team's 38 points with 19 led by attackman Hill Plunkett with nine points, Tyler Clark with four points, followed by Brayden Fountain with three points.
Series History: The Black Knights command a 50-8 all-time series record against Yale dating back to their first matchup in 1922 – a 13-0 Army win. In their last 10 meetings, the Black Knights hold a 6-4 record over the Bulldogs. The last time the two teams met in February 2025 in New Haven, Army defeated Yale 14-3. This is the first contest between the two programs at West Point since 2003.
