Men's Lacrosse Set for NCAA Tournament First Round

WEST POINT, NY – The Army West Point men's lacrosse team will head down to Maryland to take on the No. 4 seed Terrapins in the first round of the NCAA tournament on Saturday, May 13 at 7:30 p.m. at SECU Stadium.
This is the Black Knights 18th trip to the NCAA tournament which is 13th most all time. The Last appearance came in 2019 with the last win coming in 2010 when Army beat No. 2 seed Syracuse.

Army won the Patriot League Championship for the third time in program history with a 10-8 win over No. 5 seed Loyola. The Black Knights had a balanced scoring attack with six players scoring at least one goal. Four of those players had two goals.

- Sophomore Will Coletti has been unstoppable at the x this season. His faceoff win percentage of .623 is the eighth best in the nation. His 418 career faceoff wins is already sixth most in program history. Coletti has shattered the previous single season ground balls record. His 145 ground balls this season bring his career total to 248 which is fifth most in program history. His 8 GB per game is on pace to blow the current career record out of the water with second best being 5.57 GB per game.
- Army has had 21 different goal scorers this year and six players score double-digit goals.
