No. 8/9 Men's Lacrosse Set to Battle No. 19/20 Boston for Regular Season Title

WEST POINT, NY – The regular season Patriot League title is on the line Friday night for No. 8/9 Army West Point men's lacrosse (10-2, 7-0 Patriot League) when they take on No. 19/20 Boston (9-3, 6-1 PL) in Michie Stadium.
The game is set for an 8:15 p.m. start and will air on CBS Sports Network.

- Army beat Navy by a score of 11-6 after jumping out to a commanding 9-2 lead in the first half.
- It was the Black Knights first win over the Midshipmen since 2019 (2020 canceled due to COVID-19).

- The Black Knights defense is tied for first in goals allowed (Notre Dame has only played 10 games), only allowing 97 goals this season. The second-best defense in the Patriot League has allowed 123 goals.

- The Terriers are the highest scoring team in the Patriot League with 170 goals for.
- Vince D'Alto leads the way for Boston offensively. His 39 goals and 59 points rank 16th and 14th in the nation respectively.
- Boston's goalie Matt Garber ranks 4th in the Patriot League in goals against average with 11.35 per game.
- His save percentage of .478 is ninth best in the league.
- Defensively the Terriers have allowed the third fewest goals in the conference with 132 goals against this season.
