No. 8/9 Men's Lacrosse Set to Battle No. 19/20 Boston for Regular Season Title

WEST POINT, NY – The regular season Patriot League title is on the line Friday night for No. 8/9 Army West Point men's lacrosse (10-2, 7-0 Patriot League) when they take on No. 19/20 Boston (9-3, 6-1 PL) in Michie Stadium.

The game is set for an 8:15 p.m. start and will air on CBS Sports Network.

LAST TIME OUT

Army beat Navy by a score of 11-6 after jumping out to a commanding 9-2 lead in the first half.
It was the Black Knights first win over the Midshipmen since 2019 (2020 canceled due to COVID-19).
Army was led in scoring by Reese Burek who netted four goals and added an assist.
AJ Pilate was dominant on defense, forcing three turnovers and scooping four ground balls.
Knox Dent was a brick wall in net, making 10 saves and holding Navy to one goal in each of three of the four quarters.

Will Coletti is only two ground balls away from setting the new single-season record. The record is currently held by Dan Grabher when he had 113 in 2017.
Knox Dent was named Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week for the second time this season. He is second the Patriot League in goals against average, only allowing 8.36 goals per game and only behind his teammate Matt Chess.
Army's average margin of 4.7 is tops in the conference.

The Terriers are the highest scoring team in the Patriot League with 170 goals for.
Vince D'Alto leads the way for Boston offensively. His 39 goals and 59 points rank 16th and 14th in the nation respectively.
Boston's goalie Matt Garber ranks 4th in the Patriot League in goals against average with 11.35 per game.
