WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's track and field team travels to University Park, Pa., to compete in the Penn State National Invitational.
NOTES AND HIGHLIGHTS
The Black Knights come to this meet from a strong third-place finish out of eight squads at the Penn 8-Team Select hosted by the University of Pennsylvania.
At this meet, Briyah Brown took first in both the weight throw and shot put. In the weight throw, she threw a ECAC qualifying distance of 18.61m, which was also a personal record for the senior. This distance also broke the school record in the women's weight throw (17.99m) set in 1999.
