Track and Field Announces 2025-26 Schedule

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point track and field has released its full indoor and outdoor scheduled for the 2025-26 season, as announced by Director of Track and Field Mike Smith on Thursday afternoon.
Including postseason competition, the Black Knights are scheduled to compete in 12 meets during the indoor season and 12 during the outdoor portion of the schedule. Army will host six meets at West Point, including the Star Meet against Navy during the outdoor season.
"Our indoor schedule is designed to keep us close to home. There are a lot of quality indoor facilities on the East Coast, so we don't have to travel all that far to find good competitive meets. That is what we have prioritized with our 2026 schedule," said Smith. "Our outdoor schedule is set up for us to chase the weather early and then enjoy the weather late. We hope to qualify a big squad to the NCAA Regional Championships, and then the NCAA Outdoor Championship."
The Black Knights open their indoor schedule with a pair of home meets on Dec. 6 with the Crowell Open and the West Point Open on Jan. 10. Army will hit the road for the first time on Jan. 17 with Quaker Invite, hosted by Penn.
From Jan. 22-24, Army will compete in two separate meets, with members of the team going to the Dr. Sander Collegiate Invite hosted by Columbia and the Penn Elite Invitational. The following week, the squad will head to the Penn State National Invite.
The first pair of track and field stars are on the line on Feb. 7 as Army travels to Annapolis to take on Navy in the Star Meet, which is part of the Army-Navy Star Series presented by USAA.
The following week will see the Black Knights compete in a pair of meets in Boston, with members of the team going to the Crimson Open hosted by Harvard and the Valentine Invite hosted by Boston U.
Army will host the final regular season meet of the season – the West Point Tune-Up – on Feb. 21. The Patriot League Indoor Track and Field Championships will take place the following week, Feb. 21-March 1, and will be hosted by Boston U.
The NCAA Indoor Championships will be March 13-14 in Fayetteville, Ark.
To open the outdoor season, the Black Knights will host the Army Open on March 20-21. Following the home opener, Army will send athletes to the both the Raleigh Relays on March 26-28 and the UCF Knights Invitational Match 27-28. The Black Knights will remain in the southern United States on April 2-4, as it competes in the Florida Relays hosted in Gainesville, Fla.
Army returns home for the most anticipated home meet of the season on April 11, as it hosts Navy for the Star Meet, which is part of the Army-Navy Series Presented by USAA.
Following the Star Meet, the next three weeks of competition will see the Black Knights traveling to events. First up is the Virginia Challenge on April 17-18. Army will then travel to the world-famous Penn Relays on April 23-25.
The penultimate regular season meet will see the Black Knights travel to the Larry Ellis Invitational hosted by Princeton. Army will host the West Point Twilight on May 7 to close out the regular season.
On May 15-16, Army will travel to Navy for the Patriot League Outdoor Track and Field Championships, where the women's team will look to defend its 2025 championship.
The NCAA East Preliminary Round will take place in Lexington, Ky., while the NCAA Championships will be in Eugene, Ore.
