Army Geared for Pivotal Senior Day Game

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point men's soccer will close out the home portion of its 2017 regular season with a key Patriot League game against Holy Cross slated for Sunday at 2 p.m. on senior day.
Prior to the game, the Black Knights will honor seniors Shaban Abousaud, Marcos Arroyo, Christian Nolasco, Okheem Riley and Denys Villatoro.
With only two games left in the regular season and playoff implications on the line, Army currently sits tied for seventh in the league alongside Colgate with a 2-4-1 Patriot League record. The Black Knights' opponent, Holy Cross, has played to a 3-3-1 mark in league play and is in fifth heading into Sunday's contest.
The Cadets and Crusaders have met 35 times since 1983 with Army holding the all-time series lead, 17-14-4. The Black Knights claimed the last meeting between the two squads after defeating Holy Cross 1-0 last season at West Point.

• Army is coming off a 3-1 loss at home to Boston U. on Wednesday.
• Sophomore Rex Epps' seven goals are tied for second-best in the Patriot League.
• The Black Knights rank second in the league in shots (216), while allowing the fewest shots (118) to the opposition.
• Justin Stoll has posted a league-best .775 goals-against average in the third-most minutes played by Patriot League keepers this season to go along with a .727 save percentage.

• The Crusaders have been outscored 27-16 this season.
