ARMY GAME NOTES AND HIGHLIGHTS
- For the 14th time this season and 10th straight game, Army outshot its opponent.
- Sophomore Rex Epps scored his team-best seventh goal of the season.
- Epps also led the team in shots with three, while Marcos Arroyo and Keenan O'Shea each added two.
- It was the sixth time this season that Army's defense did not allow double-digit shots by the opposition.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the 22nd minute, Elias Lampas got control of the ball on a breakaway and met Stoll one-on-one. Stoll sprinted up in the box, dove and made the save. However, the ball ricocheted back into play and Satchel Cortet shot it past the diving Stoll and in for the score.
- The Terriers added an insurance goal in the 33rd minute when Toti Knutsson inserted a ball into the box from the right side and Austin D'Anna came charging in to put it into the back of the net.
- Army tried to steal a goal back in the 83rd minute and Roman Guiseppi got a hold of the ball near the Terriers' net, but his shot hit the post and trickled away.
- The Black Knights had another scoring opportunity just seconds later and this time capitalized once Epps tapped in a loose ball to trim the deficit to one, 2-1.
- Boston U. wasted no time and countered a minute later after Knutsson sent the ball to T.J. Butzke, who set up D'Anna for his second goal of the night.
