LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Army West Point men's soccer team fell 1-0 to Bucknell in a Patriot League road match on Saturday night at Emmitt Field at Holmes Stadium.

The Black Knights dropped to 2-3-1 in the Patriot League and 8-5-1 overall, while the Bison improved to an even 3-3 in league action and 5-7-3 overall.

Army controlled the pace of the game and dominated possession, but struggled to break through and find the back of the net. The Cadets held an 11-4 advantage in shots and 10-3 edge in corners.

The Black Knights' defense limited the Bison to just four shots, with one coming on goal.

ARMY HIGHLIGHTS AND GAME NOTES

Army outshot the opposition for the 13th time this season.
It was the ninth straight game that Army recorded more shots than its opponent.
For the fifth consecutive outing, the Black Knights' defense did not allow double-digit shots by the opposing team.
The Cadets allowed one or fewer shots on goal for the third time this year.
Sophomore Rex Epps led Army in shots with three against Bucknell.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Bison had a corner in the seventh minute and took a 1-0 lead after Ben Derleth netted a shot off a pass from Matt Thorsheim.
