The Black Knights boast an overall season record of 6-1, with their only loss coming from Navy. The Cadets are 2-1 in the Patriot League after defeating Lehigh and Bucknell last weekend.
"I think we need to keep doing what we have been doing," said head coach Mickey Wender. "We have a very ambitious, professional and tough group. We aren't going to do anything different, but we can't let our guard down. We can't afford to slip. We are going to have some great competition this weekend, but more importantly we will have more opportunities to compete and to race at a high level. Every chance to race now is crucial and helps build the athlete's championship performances."
Army showed dominance with 22 first-place finishes and 10 sweeps in the two meets opposite the Mountain Hawks and Bison.
Jay Yang tallied five individual wins for the Black Knights. He won the 200 fly both nights, the 200 back, 200 IM and 400 IM.
Josh Sembrano was also successful and had a hand in three first-place finishes and had one second-place time.
Edward Emery won the 3-meter against Lehigh with a mark of 214.20, he placed second off the 1-meter with 165.75 points, following firstie Joe Frullaney who notched a score of 248.84.
Chris Szekely was tabbed as the Conference Swimmer of the Week by collegeswimming.com Wednesday after rakcing up 45 points in the back-to-back meets. He won the 50 free and 100 free events on both days of competition. Against Bucknell, his 20.55 leg of the 200 medley relay helped Army start the meet with a first-place finish and was also the fastest 50 free time recorded at Crandall Pool throughout the weekend.
"The team's performance level has been high on the road this season," Wender added. "The women defeated Fordham in their pool earlier this year, and we have been tough and consistent. I think it is tough when you take a bus ride then swim, but I have faith that our team will be ready."
Army leads Colgate, 54-6, in the all-time series and is undefeated against Lafayette at 12-0.
Action is set to begin at 2 p.m. from Lineberry Natatorium.
