2014-15: Continued to show dominance in the pool … was the No. 1 performer at the Patriot League Championships with the most individual points earned of any competitor … swept in the sprint events, earning first place in both the 50 and 100 free and earned an NCAA "B" cut time … in the 100 free, he clocked an Academy record-setting time of 43.81, besting the previous record set in 1988 by 0:00.32 seconds … member of three relay teams with Academy records … was awarded All-Patriot League First Team accolades for the second consecutive year … named the Most Valuable Male of the swim and dive team … earned AAA Athlete of the Week honors twice this season, Patriot League Athlete of the Week accolades once and ECAC Athlete of the Week honors twice.
2013-14: All-Patriot League First … broke two Academy records in freestyle events … set new standards in the 50-free (19.88) at the Army -Navy meet and in the 200-free (1:37.01) at the Patriot League Championships … had the team's top-time of the season in the 100-free (44.16 … member of Academy record-setting 800-free team relay (6:37.18) at Patriot League Championships.
2012-13: Enjoyed an impressive freshman campaign … named to All-Patriot League second team after anchoring two top-10 showings at the conference meet … broke three plebe records, one relay record … moved into Army's all-time top-10 in four different disciplines … excelled in freestyle events including the 100, 200 and 500 … capped off his freshman year with two personal-best, all-time top-10 and plebe record times at the Patriot League Championships (Feb.23) … clocked in at 20.60 in the 50 free and 44.85 in the 100 free … also took a fourth- place finish in the 200 free … finished first in the 100 and 200 free races in addition to a third-place finish in the 500 free against Lehigh (Jan. 11) … swept all three races at the Bucknell meet (Jan. 12) … took first in the 100 free and second in the 50 free at Copa Coqui (Jan. 5) … had a personal-best time and a second-place finish in the 200 free touching the wall at 1:38.34 … also took second in the 100 free and third in the 500 free … earned gold in the 200 free, silver in the 100 free and bronze in the 500 free in the tri-meet versus LIU Post and Columbia (Nov. 17) … posted two first-place finishes in the 100 and 500 free and a second-place finish in the 200 free at Buffalo (Nov. 10) … came in first in the 200 free, second in the 500 free and third in the 100 free versus UConn (Oct. 26) … had two first-place finishes in the 50 and 100 free in the tri-meet against American and George Mason (Jan. 19).
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Graduated from LaSalle College High School in 2012 ... twice earned All-America honors ... achieved All-America status following junior and senior seasons as a member of the national championship-winning 200 free relay team (first in the country) ... named all-state as a sophomore, junior and senior ... tabbed all-Catholic each of his four seasons ... placed second in the state (PIAA) in both the 200 free and 500 free as a senior ... also helped the 200 free relay and 400 free relay teams to state titles as a senior … 400 free relay team was the third fastest in the country.
PERSONAL: Spent part last summer on a service trip to El Salvador … was also a company commander for CBT II … dream job is to be an FA officer and eventually teach, go into politics or work in the movie/television industry … spirit animal is Jeff the mannequin … Company D-4 … majoring in International Relations.
