Prior to West Point: Competed in high school volleyball at Burlington High School, located in Burlington, Wisconsin… Was team captain in the 2025 season… Received several honors in 2025, her senior year of high school, including WI D1 SLC All-Conference Player of the Year, Racine County All-County Player of the Year, Racine Journal Times Player of the Year, WI D1 All-Conference First Team, 2025 WI D1 All-County First Team and WI D1 All-State Honorable Mention… Received the 2026 “Demon Award,” awarded to the top female athlete at Burlington High School… Through high school, she also received WI D1 All-State Honorable Mention two more times (2023-24), WI D1 All-County First Team (2024), WI D1 All-Conference Team (2024), WI D1 All-Conference Honorable Mention (2023) and WI D1 All-County Honorable Mention (2023)… Played in the WI D1 State Championship Tournament in 2023… Graduated summa cum laude from BHS and was in the top five of her class. Plus was an AP Scholar with distinction… Off the court, Dempkey was named WI D1 SLC Conference Scholar Athlete of the Year (2026), plus Wisconsin Athletic Association Scholar Athlete (2026) honors and was a multi-time WI Volleyball Coaches Association All-Academic award recipient (2023-26)… Was a member of the National Honors Society and served as her chapter’s vice president, plus was involved in student government, Academic Bowl, DRIVEN (leadership/volunteering group) and B-Squad (leadership group focused on school culture)… Added eight years of club volleyball experience to her resume, including two years at Milwaukee Sting and most recently, five years at VC United… Named her club team’s captain from 2022 to 2026… Received AVCA All-Region Award (2025), named to AVCA Best and Brightest First Team and JVA Watch List (2025), plus was the LOVB Professional Volleyball "LOVB Junior Athlete of the Month" in January of 2025.
