Kevin Ross

Kevin Ross joined the Army West Point sprint football staff in 2017 as the wide receivers coach.
Ross brings experience from all levels of football, having coached in the National Football League (NFL), college and high school, as well as a military background.
A Desert Storm veteran, Ross served in Japan, Philipines, Suaid Arabia, Bahrain, Korea, Australia, Thailand and various locations throughout the United States as a member of the First Marine Division.
Ross’ most recent coaching gig was as the head coach at Burke Catholic High School from 2014-16. At Burke, he also taught health, leadership, business ethics, religion and match classes, while also serving as the head coach for indoor track and the regional champion debate team. On the gridiron, Ross led the Eagles to the playoffs every year despite having no full-time assistants.
Prior to Burke, he coached at the University of Albany as the tight end’s coach and assistant for special teams in 2013. In the spring of 2013, Ross spent time interning with both the Miami Dolphins and Atlanta Falcons, working with the tight end groups for both teams.
Ross has worked in college football for 13 years, including stints as the offensive coordinator and running backs coach at Army under his father, Bobby Ross, from 2004-07, the running backs and assistant special teams coach at the University of Virginia from 2001-03, the wide receivers and special teams coach at The Citadel in 1999-2000, graduate assistant defensive coach at Georgia Tech in 1998, and the video/computer analysis coordinator for Texas State in 1997.
Ross graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1988 with a B.S. in Economics and earned his Masters Degree in Education from Grand Canyon University in 2013.
