Sprint Football Earns 18 on CSFL All-Academic Team

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Army West Point Sprint Football earned 18 cadet-athletes on the CSFL All-Academic Team, as announced by the conference on Friday morning. For the Black Knights nine players are making the team for the second consecutive season: Clay Earp, Jack Fillion, Thomas Golio, Cason Mackie, Trey McCardell, Kelten Ocasek, Alex Perine, Louis Petkus and JC Romo. The following sophomores are making the team in the first season in which they are eligible: Jeff Ryder, Carson McFadden, Deklan Estep.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must a) have a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher; b) appeared in at least one contest for the nominated season; c) be at least a sophomore both academically and athletically; d) and must have completed at least two semesters at their current institution.
The Black Knights finished the 2025 season with a 7-1 mark. Army was spectacular on the road amassing a 4-0 record. Army outscored their opponents 288-71 across their eight games, averaging 36 points per game. The Black Knights finished at the top of the CSFL North Standings going undefeated in division play with a 4-0 record.
