Prior to West Point: Played high school softball at North Rockland High School, located in Thiells, New York… Through her high school career, was named All-Section and All-League three times, plus was named First Team All-County and Second Team All-State… Played travel softball for the Empire State Huskies… Off the field, she was on principal’s roll all four years of high school, was named Scholar Athlete of the Year and graduated as an AP Scholar and was in the top 10% of her class… Served as the president of the Academy of Education and Leadership, plus was a member of the National Honors Society alongside her school’s math, english, science and social studies honor societies… Also was a student ambassador and math tutor… Her father, Keith Finnerty, played collegiate baseball at St. John’s and was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals.
