Allison Wright rejoined Army West Point Athletics in February of 2019 as the Executive Assistant to the Athletic Director. In this role, Wright’s primary responsibilities are to provide administrative support and to serve as a direct liaison between the Academy and the Athletic Director. From 2008-11, she worked for Army Athletics in Team Operations as a Team Travel Support Assistant.
Before arriving at West Point, Wright spent a year working as a Master Resilience Trainer-Performance Expert at Fort Bragg, N.C. Her primary responsibility was to provide performance psychology training to the soldiers in the 82nd Airborne Division. From 2012-14, Wright served as the Administrative Assistant for the women’s basketball team at the United States Air Force Academy.
Wright earned her master’s degree in Performance Psychology from the University of Florida in 2016. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin in 1998.
A native of The Woodlands, Texas, Wright has been an Army spouse for 16 years. She currently resides in Cornwall, NY, with her husband, LTC Will Wright (USMA ’99), and their dog, Camo.
