Frable, Stoddard Earn NWCA Scholar All-American Honors

MANHEIM, Pa. – Army West Point Wrestling's Wolfgang Frable and Lucas Stoddard have been named 2025 NCAA Division I Men's Scholar All-Americans by the National Wrestling Coaches Association.

One of the following criteria must be met to have been selected by the NWCA.
Â
Frable—an NCAA qualifier and EIWA 5th place finisher at 197 pounds—recorded a 22-12 record on the season, with two falls, six technical falls and seven major decisions. The junior was 7-4 in duals and 5-2 in duals vs. EIWA opponents.

Stoddard—wrestling at 285 lbs—was 13-3 overall, going 5-1 in duals and 3-1 in EIWA dual matches.

In 2024-25, Army won the Star dual vs. Navy this year for the seventh time in 11 years, finished in a tie for third place overall at the EIWA Championships, won the Southern Scuffle team title and sent seven wrestlers to the NCAA Championships.Â
