BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Army West Point Wrestling took four of the 10 bouts at No. 24 Indiana on Saturday, but the Black Knights were unable to overcome a hole in the back half of the dual and fell 26-14 to the Hoosiers.
For Army, Charlie Farmer opened the dual at 125 lbs, but was defeated in bonus point fashion by Indiana's Jacob Moran.
The Black Knights took a lead in the dual, with back-to-back bout wins at 133 and 141 lbs. After Jake Crapps–wrestling in his first Army career dual after transferring from Missouri—defeated Logan Frazier at 133, Braden Basile eked a close decision from the home team's Henry Porter at 141.
Next, Mason Barvitskie was defeated by major decision at the hands of Joey Buttler, but Joseph Antonio continued his outstanding start to his plebe year and would tie the dual at 9-9 with a win over Bryce Lowery at 157 lbs.
Indiana would pull away in the back half of the affair, winning each bout from 165 lbs onwards until heavyweight, when Brady Colbert took down Caleb Marzolino by technical fall.
Army dips to 0-3 overall in 2025-26, but with each dual coming against Big Ten opponents.
