Reese Burek started the scoring three minutes into the third quarter which had five different goal scorers – Nichtern, Bobby Abshire, Alex Gekas, and Jackson Eicher. Byrnes added his fourth goal of the game early in the fourth quarter and Gekas netted his second to cap Army's 13-0 run. NJIT scored three straight goals before Ryan Sellew scored the game's final goal with 47 seconds.
