Football Set to Host ACU Saturday

SETTING THE SCENE
• The Black Knights look to get back to their winning ways as they host Abliene Christian at Michie Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 3 at 1:30 p.m. ET. The game will be telecast nationally on CBS Sports Network.
• Ben Holden will handle the play-by-play duties, the color analyst is Ross Tucker and the sideline reporter is Tina Cervasio.
• The game can be heard on the radio, both on the flagship stations WBNR and WLNA, Sirius 134, XM 203 and streamed through the TuneIn app on the Army Black Knights Radio.
FACING THE WILDCATS
•The Black Knights and the Wildcats will meet for the first time in program history on the gridiron on Saturday.
•The two squads have one common opponent in 2020 in Mercer. The Black Knights are scheduled to play Mercer on Oct. 24 at Michie Stadium, one week before the Wildcats visit them in Macon, Ga. on Oct. 31.
• The Black Knights are 9-2 against FCS opponents under seventh-year head coach Jeff Monken and have won the last eight-straight.
DEFENSIVE PROWESS
• Despite the loss, the Black Knights held No. 14-ranked Cincinnati to just 2.0 yards per rush, the Bearcats' lowest yards per rush total since 2016.
• Army's defense has held all opponents so far this season to under 100 yards rushing.Â
