HOFFMAN PRESS BOX
The Hoffman Press Box is located at the West End of Michie Stadium Preserved by USAA. The fourth floor of Hoffman Press Box houses seating space for approximately 50 media members. Hoffman’s fifth level features radio, coaches’, video, athletic directors’ and game operations booths. The press box can be accessed through the elevator underneath the west stands of Michie Stadium Preserved by USAA.
BROADCAST BOOTHS
The home and visiting radio booth can be located on the fifth floor of Hoffmann Press Box, along with the public address announcer and control room. CBS Sports Network’s booth is located on the fourth floor.
PRACTICE COVERAGE
Members of the media are invited to attend practices at all times, unless prior notice of a closed practice is given. Video and photos are allowed only during individual portions of practice. A weekly media schedule with Head Coach, Coordinators and Player availability will be distributed via Football Communications. A member of the Athletic Communications staff must accompany media members at all practices and the use of cameras will be subject to Army West Point Football Photography Policy. To gain entry to West Point, media will need to attain the proper entry badge by stopping at the Visitor’s Center, outside of Thayer Gate. Please provide 24 hours notice if you plan to attend practice.
HEAD COACH MEDIA AVAILABILITY
Black Knights Head Coach Jeff Monken will be available to the media on a weekly basis on Tuesdays and postgame. The media availability will be held at Nowak Auditorium.
PLAYER INTERVIEWS
All Army West Point players will be available to the media following each practice during the 2026 season. Select players will be available via a post-practice pressconference. Additional player requests will be individually scheduled around cadet-athlete availability. Please provide 24 hours notice for all player interview requests.
POSTGAME INTERVIEWS
Head Coach Jeff Monken, the quarterback and other select players will be available following each game during the 2026 season. While all postgame media availabilty for Army West Point home games will take place in the Nowak Auditorium, located just off the building’s main entrance, press conferences will be conducted in-person and also on Zoom. The visiting locker room is located under the Michie Stadium Preserved by USAA east stands, with the visiting postgame press conference located there.
CREDENTIAL APPLICANT INFORMATION
The Army Football credential application should be submitted by media members, directors or editors of their respective outlets seeking to cover Army Football games at Michie Stadium Preserved by USAA. If the same person plans to attend multiple games and a working media capacity, then each game can be selected on the same form. However, we ask that a separate credential application form be filled out for any additional media members one may wish to request on behalf of.
GETTING ONTO WEST POINT
Anyone who plans to enter West Point to cover the football team in any capacity must have proper documentation to enter post. The athletic communications office is not responsible for escorting those without proper clearance to enter post by themselves.
APPROVAL
Approved requests will be notified via email by Army Football Communications.
DISTRIBUTION
Approved credential(s) may be mailed on game week, so please list the mailing address where you would like the credential(s) mailed to if you prefer to receive credentials by FedEx. Credential holders may also opt to pick their credentials and parking passes in-person at the Army Communications Office during the week.
ARMY-NAVY CREDENTIALS
Approved credentials during the regular season apply for the only the game(s) the applicant applied for, and do not guarantee approval for other games during the regular season or the Army-Navy Game in East Rutherford, N.J.
MEALS AND REFRESHMENTS
A hot meal will be provided for credentialed media and photographers. Coffee and other refreshments will also be made available on the fourth floor of Hoffman Press Box.
PHOTOGRAPHERS
Photographers may enter the press box (where food and drinks will be provided) and must stay in the end zones and use the concourse area for movement between end zones.
PHOTO WORK ROOM
The photo work room will be located outside of Michie Stadium Preserved by USAA, across the street in the Holleder Center’s media room on the first floor. Media members can re-enter and exit Michie Stadium Preserved by USAA through Gate 7 to access the Holleder Center.
SIDELINE ACCESS
If in the press box, exit left out of the elevator and enter through gate 7. Photographers can enter through gate 7 located on Southwest side of the stadium. A map of walking routes for media will be provided to access the sideline, media room and visiting locker room.
INFORMATION DISTRIBUTION
The Hoffman Press Box is for working members of the media only. The press box includes space for working members of the press, team representatives and the stats team. A final box score will be distributed at the completion of each game. StatBroadcast live stats links for each game are available publicly. Austin Pert will keep media informed of all information, notable facts and records.
New in 2026, game notes will be distributed electronicly to members of the media. A QR code will be available in the Hoffman Press Box and on the game day flip card to navigate media members to the Army Football media center and game notes. Limited hard copies of game notes will be available.
