Williamson Earns Patriot League Weekly Honors

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Senior Justin Williamson led the Army West Point golf team to a fifth-place finish at the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Invitational and was named Patriot League Men's Golfer of the Week for his performance.

Williamson shot a 2-over par 212 (70-71-71) to tie for 10th-place out of 75 competitors at the 54-hole Palmetto Invitational at the par-70 Palmetto Golf Club. The senior helped the Black Knights to a fifth-place finish with a team score of 26-over par 866 in the 15-team field.

Williamson carded an opening round even par 70, including 3-under par on the back nine. He finished the two-day event with 10 birdies and stayed in the top 10 throughout the tournament.

The Black Knights are back in action this coming Friday for a three-day tournament at the Schenkel Invitational in Georgia.
