NIAGARA, N.Y. – The Army West Point hockey team suffered a 4-1 deficit to Niagara on the road Friday night.

The Black Knights went ahead 1-0, but four unanswered by the Purple Eagles was too much to overcome.

Niagara won 4-1 after going 3-for-4 on the power play.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The first period was controlled by the Black Knights with Trevin Kozlowski recording nine saves.
Michael Wilson six seconds into an Army power play halfway through the frame to put the Black Knights ahead 1-0.
Brendan Soucie and Dominic Franco fired off shots and Wilson banked it in from the doorstep.
Niagara bounced back in the second though scoring three in the stanza.
The first Purple Eagles score came on the power play 6:13 into the period.
The next two goals came in a 1:25 minute span.
Niagara scored to open action in the third period. It was the Purple Eagles' third power play goal of the game to put them ahead 4-1.

Kozlowski finished the game with 21 saves.
Wilson netted his third power play goal of the year and 13th in his career.
He now totals 10 goals this season and 19 points to lead the team.

The senior has produced 17 points this season and 91 in his four years to lead the Black Knights.
Returning to the Black Knights' lineup was Brendan Soucie.
The senior notched an assist in his season debut to mark the 27th in his career and 57th point.
Ben Sokay led the Purple Eagles with four points on two goals and two assists.
