STATESBORO, Ga. – The Army West Point golf team remained in the 11th spot on the leaderboard after the conclusion of round two of the Schenkel Invitational.

The Black Knights have a team score of 596 (+20) after the second day. They were 12-over as a team in the second round. East Tennessee State has taken over the lead after shooting 8-under as a team to have a three-stroke lead heading into the final round at 11-under.

TOURNAMENT NOTES

James McKee and Tom Katsenes were Army's top golfers in round two with each carding a 2-over 74.
McKee birdie two of his final four holes, including the 18th to move to 2-over on the day, while Katsenes birdied 16 and then ended with two pars to finish with a 74.
McKee is tied for 23rd on the individual leaderboard at 2-over for the tournament.
Team captain Nick Turner was 3-over on his round and is tied for 25th on the individual leaderboard at 3-over through two rounds.
He birdied 17 and 18 to take two strokes back heading into the final day of competition.
Matt Plunkett and Justin Williamson both shot 77 and both are at 9-over for the tournament.
Georgia Southern's Steven Fisk has the lead going into the final round with a 7-under score through two rounds. He carded a 5-over round of 67 today and has a one-stroke advantage over Peng Pichaikool of Mississippi State.
