Spring 2017: Kicked off the spring season with a program record eight-under-par, 64, against Florida Atlantic… Finished the Hayt Invitational T77th scoring 239 (+23)… At the Seahawk Invitational finished T53rd after scoring 235 (+19)… Completed the Augusta Invite T71 scratching 226 (+10)… Placed T11th at the VGA Collegiate Invite with a score of 219 (+3)… At the Patriot League Championships finished T18th after scoring 216 (+6).
Fall 2016: Started off the season at the Alex Lagowitz Memorial Invite where he scored 224 (+8) over two days… At the Fighting Illini Invite finished T76 after shooting 240 (+22)… Defeated his Navy opponent 2-and-1… At the Price’s “Give Em Five” Invite finished in 62nd scoring 228 (+12)… At the Patriot All-American Event shot 224 (+14) over three days.
Freshman Year
Spring 2016: Competed in three spring tournaments for the Cadets … tied for 35th in the Til Duty is Done Collegiate Invitational for his best finish of the season … shot a 13-over 77-73-79—229 … also saw action at the Wofford Invitational and the Seahawk Intercollegiate for the Black Knights … voted the team’s Most Improved Player … averaged 76 strokes through 17 rounds this season.
Fall 2015: Represented Army in all five events this fall … partnered with Peter Kim during four-ball round of the Army-Navy Star Match and won, 2 up, over Tallman and Mauer … halved Won during the individuals round … partnered with Dean Sakata in the foursomes round in the inaugural Bush Cup versus Yale … finished all-square against Bernstein in the individuals round … placed t-40th at the Doc Gimmler … carded a 72-76-72—220 (+10) during his collegiate debut at the Bethpage Red Course … was Army’s third-best finisher at the Golfweek Conference Challenge … ranked t-66th with 231 strokes … finished the Price’s Give ‘Em Five Invitational at eight-over … averaged 75 strokes this fall.
Background: Two-time Nevada State Champion, 2013 and 2015 … four-time regional champion … 2014 individual regional champion … was named the Regional Player of the Year in 2014 … earned All-Region accolades four times … three-time All-State honoree … member of the National Honor Society … was named to the Principal’s Honor Roll due to his 4.0 GPA.
