Golf’s Sparks Earns First Team All-Patriot League

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Army West Point golf sophomore Tyson Sparks earned First Team All-Patriot League as announced by the conference on Wednesday morning. Sparks is the first golfer since John Heckel Jr. in the 2022-23 season to collect the honor. For the Wisconsin native, this marks the first Patriot League award of his collegiate career.

Collected a 70(-1) in the second round of the Folds of Honor Collegiate
Finished in fourth place at the Commander-In-Chief's Cup and Won his singles match at Army-Navy by 2UP
Earned a third-place finish at the Nassau Intercollegiate, with two rounds under of 69 (-1) in both the first and third rounds
Shot a new career low 67-74-66-207(-9) to finish second at the Pearl at Kalauao Invitational
Finished tied for seventh at the Patriot League Championships
