October 28, 2019 | Men's Lacrosse
MINNEAPOLIS -Â Epoch Lacrosse, a U.S. design and technology company that specializes in engineering innovative lacrosse gear, proudly announces their partnership with the Army West Point men's NCAA Division 1 lacrosse team.
Made in USA is more than just a tagline for Epoch, and the company is very proud to establish a relationship with Army West Point, a team that truly understands that. At the end of the 2019 season, the Black Knights were ranked 13th in national polls and are currently competing with Epoch gear in fall ball to prepare for a competitive 2020 spring campaign.
Â
As a partner for the Army West Point Men's lacrosse team, Epoch Lacrosse will provide players with the industry-leading Dragonfly shafts, innovative lacrosse heads, and their full range of the newest Elite Integra protective equipment for the upcoming season. All gear will be customized for the team thanks to Epoch's bespoke capabilities. The partnership also includes a significant marketing component with Army West Point Sports Properties who manages that relationship with Epoch Lacrosse on behalf of Army Athletics and the Academy. Army West Point Sports Properties is the locally based Learfield IMG College team overseeing the Black Knights' comprehensive multimedia rights.
Â
"We are beyond thrilled to be partnering with a team and an institution that has such an incredible history and purpose," said James Miceli, Principal at Epoch Lacrosse. "The opportunity to provide such outstanding athletes and future servicemen with our innovative gear is truly unique and we are looking forward to working with the team throughout the year."
Â
One of the nation's few service academies, the United State Military Academy is responsible for developing the next generation of Army Officers. As a company that prides itself on designing, engineering, and manufacturing products here at home in the USA, Epoch is especially excited to be partnering with a program that has a distinguished tradition in the United States.
Â
"We are looking forward to representing one of the premier technology companies in the sport," said Joe Alberici, head coach of the Army team. "Everything that they are doing with regard to design and engineering is truly one of a kind and reflects an enduring commitment to putting the best gear on the market."
