Black Knights Welcome American for League Test

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's lacrosse team returns to Michie Stadium to face American in its first home Patriot League game of the 2018 season Saturday at 1 p.m.
Following the game, the team will host a youth clinic for kids of all ages who purchased a ticket to the game.

ARMY (6-3, 0-1 Patriot League)
• The Black Knights saw their program-long four-game winning streak halted in their Patriot League opener with a 15-3 setback to No. 13 Loyola.
• Six Cadets have netted double-digit goals this season, including four with at least 15 tallies.
• Senior attacker Rachel Hornick leads the team's offensive effort, pacing the squad with 33 points, 17 goals and 16 assists.
• She has recorded three hat tricks this season.
• Sophomore goalie Maddie Burns sports the third-best goals-against average in the Patriot League at 10.09.
• Burns adds a save percentage of .389 and owns a record of 6-2.

• The Eagles are riding a two-game losing skid after falling to George Washington (14-11) and Bucknell (15-9) last week.
• Erica Skowron leads the team with 29 points and 19 assists.
• Emma Vinall has scored a team-high 23 goals.
• In net, Fiona Geier has started all nine games for American and sports a 13.05 goals-against average and a .440 save percentage.
