- Springman turned in her fourth straight start in which she allowed two or fewer earned runs.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Wildcats were first to get on the board after their leadoff hitter in the first singled, stole second and scored on an Army fielding error.
- The Cadets countered in the second and used four hits to plate three runs. It started with a Drayton single through the left side and after the first out of the inning was recorded, Snelling and Swafford knocked back-to-back singles.
- With one run already in, Sam Hartman laid down a bunt for a suicide squeeze attempt and it worked to perfection. Swafford was at third when Kristen McPeek hit a sacrifice fly to right and Army went ahead 3-1.
- After tying the game up in the bottom half of the second, the Wildcats went ahead 4-3 in the third. With nothing materializing for the Black Knights in the following two innings, Bethune-Cookman grabbed a seven-run advantage, 10-3, by plating six runs on five hits en route to the win.
