BOSTON – With four top-three finishes, the Army West Point men's swimming and diving team maintained its second-place positioning at the Terrier Invitational.
The Black Knights have totaled 662 points through two days of competition, which has positioned them behind a Boston College squad that has accumulated 801.5 points. Boston U. currently sits in third with 483 points, while UMass (381.5) and Bridgeport (259) round out the top five.

"It was a very productive day," head coach Mickey Wender said. "I'm very pleased with our performance, especially considering where we're at in the training cycle. Kevin Lin's 200 free was outstanding. Our 1-2 finish in the 100 fly was solid as well. We're on track to accomplish all of our goals this season."

ARMY NOTABLES
- The foursome of Kevin Doo, Ty Dang, Nathan Hein and Billy Webber finished fifth in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:32.38.
- Jay Yang was Army's top finisher in the 400 IM, placing seventh at 4:11.03. Andrew Blomquist won the B-Final in the event with his time of 4:02.91.
- The 100 fly was highlighted by Doo's first-place time of 48.48. He was followed by Johnny Ellery, who took second at 49.09. Brian McKenrick rounded out top-eight with a time of 50.87.
- Kevin Lin scored for the Black Knights in the 200 free once he touched the wall at 1:38.88 for a third-place showing.
- In the 100 breast, it was Dang finishing sixth at 56.70. Evan Zhang won the B-Final with his time of 56.23.
- McKenrick's time of 50.65 in the 100 back secured him the top spot in the B-Final.
- Army rounded out the second day of competition with a second-place showing in the 800 free relay once the group of Lin, Tom Ottman, McKenrick and Webber recorded a time of 6:47.76.
