SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – The Army West Point hockey team fell to #RV Union, 4-1, on Saturday night.

Dalton MacAfee netted the Black Knights' lone goal of the night on the power play.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Taylor Maruya took advantage of a shorthanded opportunity 16 minutes in, but the puck deflected off Jake Kupsky's facemask.
Union put the first score on the board with 2:23 remaining in the first period.
Greg Campbell one-timed it from the point for the score.
The second period featured a flurry of scoring totaling four goals.
The Dutchmen netted back-to-back scores which were spaced 3:43 minutes apart.
Army responded though by scoring on the power play.
Alex Wilkinson worked the puck down to the far corner and Zach Evancho fed it across the ice to MacAfee.
The senior captain came got the puck near the circle and scored top shelf past Kupsky.
Union netted its fourth of the game at the end of the second period with 2:38 to go.

ARMY HIGHLIGHTS AND GAME NOTES

MacAfee netted his fourth-career power play goal on the night.
It was the senior's eighth goal in an Army uniform and his 38th collegiate point.
Evancho tallied his 18th career assist on the night, while Wilkinson posted his 29th.
Evancho now boasts 39 points in his three years and Wilkinson 38.
Jared Dempsey made 26 saves in the game for a .867 save percentage.
