Batten Tapped for Atlantic Hockey America Rookie of the Week Honors

BOSTON, Mass. – A four-point week for Billy Batten earned the freshman from Phoenixville, Pa. this week's Atlantic Hockey America Rookie of the Week title.
Batten was a critical part of Army's lineup against RIT as Army earned four points with its 6-2 win on Friday and 3-2 overtime loss on Saturday.
The freshman forward contributed four points of his own to Army's weekend with a goal and three assists against the Tigers.
Batten first tallied three assists on Friday, two of which were primary assists including on Adam Marshall's game-winning goal, before scoring on the power play on Saturday to open the scoring for both teams in the second game of the series.
Batten's offensive production helped Army out-score the Tigers 20-13 with eight goals to RIT's five.
