FAIRFAX, Va. – The Army West Point men's swimming and diving team put together a dominant outing in the pool after defeating George Mason (174-121), Boston U. (196-97), and American (223-59) on Saturday afternoon at the Jim McKay Natatorium.

ARMY NOTABLES
- Army improved to 8-3 in the dual season.
- The Black Knights won eight events in the quad meet.
- Tom Ottman topped the competition in the 1000 free with his time of 9:32.08, before placing first in the 500 free at 4:34.37.
- Evin Rude finished the 200 free at 1:38.81 and the 100 free at 45.90, which resulted in a pair of first-place finishes.
- Josh Sembrano then placed first in the 100 back at 50.50.
- In the 100 breast, Brady Almand (57.68) and Ty Dang (58.26) finished second and third, respectively.
- The 200 fly came down to the wire, but Kevin Doo edged out the victory after hitting the wall at 1:50.45. James Bilbrey (1:51.73) and Johnny Ellery (1:52.04) finished in third and fourth. Doo later won the 100 fly.
- The Black Knights swept the top-three spots in the 50 free with Hogan Harper leading the way at 21.04, while Nate Hein (21.11) and Brandon McCredie (21.16) followed.
- Army also swept the 200 breast after Ty Dang (2:05.06), Brady Almand (2:08.87) and Lawrence Quintana (2:09.04) finished in the top three.
- Hudson Kay led Army on the boards finishing second in the 3-meter with a score of 284.85 and second in the 1-meter (290.75).

- "I was very proud of our team today," head coach Mickey Wender said. "We fought hard from start to finish. Three wins is a great way to end the dual-meet season. We learned a lot and we are ready to peak taper and take it to the next level."
UP NEXT
- With the dual meet season now completed, the Black Knights will have their eyes set on the Patriot League Championships that are scheduled to last from Feb. 14-17 in Annapolis, Md.
