Army to Compete in Two Meets this Weekend

WEST POINT, N.Y. – A busy weekend lies ahead for the Army West Point men's swimming and diving team as the Black Knights will take part in a dual meet with Penn on Friday at 3 p.m., before heading to Fairfax, Va., for a quad-meet with American, Boston U., and George Mason at noon the following day.

- The Black Knights are coming off senior day wins over Bucknell and Boston College at Crandall Pool last Saturday.
- Army picked up 14 event wins in the tri-meet.
- The Cadets are 52-16 all-time against Penn, 4-0 against the Terriers, 15-1 against the Eagles and 12-0 versus George Mason.
SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION
- The Quakers are an even 4-4 in dual meets this season, including wins over Villanova, Cornell, La Salle and Dartmouth.
- They are coming off of back-to-back losses to Ivy League foes, Yale and Harvard.
- George Mason is competing in its first meet since the AT&T Winter Nationals in Columbus, Ohio from Nov. 30 through Dec. 2.
- The Patriots are a perfect 5-0Â this season.
- Boston U. is 2-0 in meets this season and are coming off a 206-63 victory over Colgate on Jan. 13. Â
- The Terriers won nine events over the Raiders.
- The Eagles have swam to a 0-7 mark this season.
- American was last defeated by Georgetown and George Washington in a tri-meet last Saturday.
