WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's swimming and diving team defeated Bucknell and Boston College in a tri-meet at Crandall Pool on Saturday afternoon.
Army improved to an even 3-3 on the season with the two wins. It was a stellar outing by the Cadets, who took down the Bison, 170-130, and the Eagles, 221-79.

ARMY NOTABLES
- The Black Knights won 11 events on senior day.
- Prior to the start of the meet, Army honored seniors Ana Marie Bistrow, Margaret Ireland, Jorie Mason and Sabrina Mortell as well as managers Caroline Harris and Adeline Henley.
- Mortell capped off her final home meet with a standout performance, winning the 1000 (10:31.52), 200 (1:56.40) and 500 (5:09.46) free.
- Kara Wineinger posted a first-place finish in the 100 (1:04.84) and 200 (2:21.42) breast after starting the meet by swimming the second leg of the 200 medley relay team that placed first at 1:45.93.
- Whitney Chang won the 200 fly after hitting the wall at 2:07.07 before winning the 100 fly at 56.72.
- Serica Hallstead had a solid day on the boards, winning the 3-meter (249.35) and the 1-meter (240.60) dives.
- Bailey Smith's time of 24.14 was good for first in the 50 free.

- "I couldn't be more proud of our team today," head coach Mickey Wender said. "Our women were firing on all cylinders and honored our seniors in a big way. It was a total team effort. Our firsties did an amazing job leading and our plebes are really starting to come around. Our transitions have improved a lot which showed in the number of close wins we had today."
