Army in Pool C for Collegiate Rugby Championships

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point men's rugby team was placed into Pool C for the Penn Mutual Collegiate Rugby 7s Championships on June 3-4 at Talen Energy Stadium in Chester, Pa.
The Black Knights are joined by service-academy rival Navy, Lindenwood and St. Joe's in Pool C.
Last year, Army was paired with Navy, St. Joe's and Arizona for the opening round, also in Pool C. The Cadets posted a 1-2 mark in pool play with their lone victory coming against the Mids, 21-10. That sparked a 3-0 performance on the second day of the tournament as the Black Knights claimed the Bowl Championship with wins over Tennessee, 38-0, Clemson, 28-7, and Maryland, 10-0.
