Black Knights Host Loyola for Senior Day

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army will close-out its season with a home game vs. Loyola at 1 p.m. on Saturday where the team will honor three seniors.

SCOUTING ARMY

Prior to the contest, the Black Knights will honor head team manager Connor McCarty and co-captains Erin Jollota and Shelby Lindsay for senior day.
The Black Knights will cap off their second season in program history with the game. This past year, the Cadets won their first overtime game, defeated crosstown rival Marist and earned Army's first Patriot League victory.
Connor McCarty is the team's head manager and will enter the Ordnance Corps upon graduation.
Erin Jollota is a two-year team captain and attacker. The Aviation Corps bound firstie will begin flight school at Fort Rucker, Ala., after graduating in May.
Shelby Lindsay is another two-year team captain after walking onto the team in its final club year. Lindsay will head to Fort Carson, Colo., to join the Engineers Branch next year.
Rachel Hornick leads the team this season with 52 points on 40 goals and 12 assists, while Manuela Cortes boasts 45 points on 39 goals and six assists.

SCOUTING LOYOLA

The Greyhounds are currently the No. 1 seed heading into the post-season Patriot League Tournament due in part to their 8-0 league mark.
Loyola is tops in the league on the circle with freshman Taylor VanThof picking up 125 this season. She is second in the nation with an 8.44 draws per game average.
Offensively, Hannah Powers fuels the team and has posted 61 goals this season on 36 goals and 25 assists.
Cami Whiteford and Frankie Kamely have also contributed with 59 and 29 points, respectively.
