WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's lacrosse team hits the road Saturday to take on American at 1 p.m.

SCOUTING ARMY

The Black Knights enter the weekend with a 4-9 overall record and are 0-5 in the Patriot League.
Manuela Cortes leads the team with 35 goals and four assists for 39 points on the year. Rachel Hornick has also produced 39 points.
Amy Johnston has been a key player for Army offensively (22 g, 10 a) and on the circle with 51 draw controls.
Samantha Stewart is also efficient across the board and leads the freshmen class in goals (12), assists (8), points (20), caused turnovers (10) and draw controls (44).
Maddie Burns paces the team with 25 ground balls, while Kiersten Spencer follows with 23. Shelby Lindsay is first on the team in caused turnovers (19) and is aided by Spencer who also has above 10 on the year.

SCOUTING AMERICAN

American resides at 2-10 this season and 0-5 in the Patriot League.
The Eagles' two wins were over Old Dominion (11-10) and Central Connecticut State (12-9).
Jennifer DeSimone has powered American's offense with 30 goals and three assists. Sarah Bootman has 24 points on the year and leads the team with eight assists.
On the draw, Madison Hoon ranks first on the team after picking up 43 in 12 games.
She also leads the Eagles in caused turnovers with 19 and is followed by Kayla Flynn (10).
