WEST POINT, N.Y. – Riding a two-game winning streak, the Army West Point women's lacrosse team welcomes UMass Lowell Wednesday for an afternoon contest beginning at 3 p.m.

SCOUTING ARMY
- This will be the second meeting between Army and UMass Lowell. The two squads faced each other last season with the Black Knights picking up the 10-8 victory.
- Army is now 4-1 this season following wins over Central Connecticut State (13-11) and Quinnipiac (9-8 2OT) last week.
- Army is led offensively by attacker Rachel Hornick, who ranks second in the Patriot League with 3.50 goals per game. Erin Jollota is second in the league in assists per game at 2.33.
- On the draw, Amy Johnston and Samantha Stewart have been standouts with 18 and 10 draws apiece.
- In net, Maddie Burns has picked up the four wins as a freshman and has amassed 37 saves for a .474 saves percentage. She also leads the Black Knights in ground balls with 15. Madeline Leahy follows with 10 and adds a team-leading 10 caused turnovers.
SCOUTING UMASS LOWELL
- UMass Lowell enters the contest with a 1-2 mark with its lone win coming over Iona (11-6). The team has suffered losses to Dartmouth (11-9) and Boston U. (12-7).
- Offensively, the River Hawks are led by Jane Dudley and Kendyl Finelli, who each have nine points on the season. Dudley has posted eight goals, while Finelli boasts seven assists.
- Rebecca Idson and Austin Trasatti have also contributed to the team's attacking end with five points each.
- Kristina Keith leads the team in the midfield with six draw controls, seven ground balls and four caused turnovers. Sheila Nolan has aided with four ground balls, five caused turnovers and three draw controls.
- In net, Courtney Barrett has started in all three games. She has recorded 33 saves for a 9.67 goals against average and a .532 save percentage.
