Black Knights Return to Michie to Face Bucknell

WEST POINT, N.Y. – After playing the last three games on the road, the Army West Point women's lacrosse team returns to Michie Stadium Saturday and welcomes Bucknell for its Patriot League home opener at 12 p.m.

SCOUTING ARMY
- This will be Army's Patriot League home opener as the team faced Lafayette on the road last Saturday.
- The contest was close until the very end when the Leopards pulled away to win 15-11.
- The Black Knights were led by Erin Jollota's five-point performance with a team-leading four assists. She now ranks third in the league with a 1.90 assists per game average.
- Rachel Hornick nets 3.00 goals per outing to rank third in league play and is closely followed by teammate Manuela Cortes (2.50).
- Amy Johnston has been a standout on the circle and has posted 4.40 draw controls per game for sixth-best in the conference.
- Maddie Burns leads the league with 3.00 ground balls per game, while Kayla Rowley's 6.40 saves per contest ranks her eighth.
SCOUTING BUCKNELL
- Bucknell resides at 5-3 on the year and 0-1 in the Patriot League. The Bison opened the season with wins over Robert Morris (11-10) and Villanova (10-6).
- The team has also garnered victories over Monmouth (14-10), Wagner (16-6) and Manhattan (8-7), while dropping the league opener to Boston University (13-8).
- Maddy Molinari is 16th nationally with 5.63 draw controls per game and 45 total this season.
- Molinari also leads the Bison's offense with 2.38 goals per game, while Chrisina Manis is first in the league for assists (2.63).
- In net, the Bison utilize Jamie DeWitt who has made 54 saves for a save percentage of .422. She also has picked up 16 groundballs.
