Army Set for Three-Match Weekend at Home

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's tennis team has another busy schedule at home planned for this weekend as the Black Knights host Southeastern Louisiana on Thursday at 3 p.m., followed by Quinnipiac and Marist on Saturday.
ARMY (8-5, 0-0 Patriot League)
• The Black Knights enter the weekend after splitting last week's matches against Fordham (L, 5-2) and St. Bonaventure (W, 7-0).
• Six of Army's eight wins on the year have been a 7-0 shutout.
• Five Cadet-athletes have eclipsed the 10-win plateau in singles this season, led by senior Nancy Porter, sophomore Kirby Einck and freshman Gloria Son, who all have 12 victories.
• Army's best doubles player this season has been senior Allyson Hayley, who has compiled a 14-5 record.
• The best doubles team this spring has been Hayley and sophomore Genevieve McCormick at 5-1.
SOUTHEASTERN LOUISIANA (3-2, 0-1 Southland)
• The Lions are currently on a two-match losing streak after starting the season 3-0.
• After defeating LSU Alexandria (5-2), Jackson State (4-3) and Southern (4-2), the Lions dropped matches against South Alabama (7-0) and McNeese (6-1).
• Fleur Holtkamp and Daline Dahlmans lead the team with three singles victories each, along with four doubles wins.
QUINNIPIAC (4-5, 3-0 MAAC)
• The Bobcats are on a two-match losing skid after being shut out by Buffalo and Yale over the past two weekends.
• Layla Rodriguez and Sydney Young lead the team with a 10-6 singles record.
• The doubles team of Young and Rachel Horton is by far the best pairing for Quinnipiac, going 16-7 overall and 4-4 in duals at the top flight.
• Young has contributed to all five of the Bobcats' first flight doubles wins, having also paired with Kelsi Oliphant against Rider.
MARIST (3-1, 0-0 MAAC)
• The Red Foxes started the year with wins over Hofstra (5-2) and Providence (4-3), before splitting with a pair of Patriot League opponents in Bucknell (L, 6-1) and Lafayette (W, 6-1).
• In the spring, Sophia Moeller has a spotless 2-0 record in singles, earning victories in the fifth and sixth flights.
• The doubles team of Elizabeth Brozovich and Ariel Shulman are a perfect 2-0 in the third flight.
