Army Drops Matches to Yale and Furman on Saturday

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point men's tennis team dropped two matches on Saturday afternoon at the Lichtenberg Tennis Center.
The Black Knights lost, 4-2 to Yale, and 4-0 to Furman. The matches marked the third and fourth consecutive home contests for Army in 2017.
ARMY HIGHLIGHTS
Grant Riechmann and Nikita Pereverzin scored a doubles victory from the number two slot against Yale, 6-3.
In the fourth singles position versus the Bulldogs, David Mitchell won, 6-3, 6-4, over Ryan Cheng.
Myles Conlin scored a victory in the sixth singles slot, 6-4, 6-2, versus Yale.
Against Furman, Sam Lampman and Gregory Shannon lost a hard-fought top doubles match, 6-4, while Riechmann and Pereverzin also fell, 6-4, in the second doubles spot.

The Black Knights will be back in action on Sunday, as they host Loyola Marymount, starting at 12 p.m.
