Army Falls to Loyola Marymount on Sunday Afternoon

edWEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point men's tennis team fell in a hard-fought contest to Loyola Marymount, 4-2, on Sunday at the Lichtenberg Tennis Center.
The Black Knights drop to 2-3 on the season with the loss.
COACHES CORNER
"We had a really good weekend of great competition," said head coach Jim Poling. "We learned a lot, and have been working on a bunch of things that will pay of for us later in the season. Our team fought really hard today and I'm very proud of them for their effort. We are moving closer and closer to our goal, one step at a time."
ARMY HIGHLIGHTS
Michael Nguyen rallied for a comeback win out of the number-one singles spot with a 4-6, 6-2, 10-5 victory.
David Mitchell recorded a three-set victory in the fourth singles spot with a 6-3, 5-7, 10-8 win.
UP NEXT
The Black Knights will be back in action on Friday, as they host Southern Methodist University, starting at 6 p.m.
