Black Knights Set for Dual Meet Against Lehigh

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's swimming and diving team opens its spring schedule with a home dual-meet versus Lehigh at 5 p.m., Friday at Crandall Pool.

Army lost to Navy in the Star Meet, 194-106, at Crandall Pool on Dec. 3, 2016.
Kelly Hamilton touched the wall in 54.10 seconds to claim first in the 100 backstroke, setting a pool and academy record.
Kara Wineinger set an academy record in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:02.94.
In the 1-meter diving, Serica Hallstead took the top spot with a score of 256.42 Hallstead also won the 3-meter dive with a final mark of 264.37.
ABOUT THE MOUNTAIN HAWKS
Lehigh has rebounded after dropping its first meet of the season (L, 169-131 vs. Boston), and has won four straight dual meets.
The Mountain Hawks first claimed a 200.5-98.5 road win over West Chester and a 221-75 victory at Rider before returning home for wins against Loyola (W, 169-125) and Lafayette (W, 219-43.)
Lehigh also saw swimmers compete in the 2016 AT&T Winter National Championships. Kaitlyn Ruffing represented the Mountain Hawks as she made her first appearance at the Winter National Championships. Ruffing placed sixth in preliminary heat No. 5 with a time of 23.37 and finished .04 seconds off the pace of the qualifying mark for the finals.
