POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Marist broke a late tie with the Army West Point men's soccer team, as Cameron Harr netted the game-winning goal with just a second remaining as the Black Knights fell to a 2-1 defeat at Tenney Stadium on Sunday evening.

The Black Knights fall to 1-2 on the season, while the Red Foxes improve to 2-0-1.

Army freshman Rex Epps scored a late equalizing goal to make the score 1-1 with 49 seconds remaining in the second half before Harr's game winner came with just one second on the clock.

ARMY HIGHLIGHTS AND GAME NOTES

Army falls to Marist for the first time since 2011, as the Red Foxes improve to 12-4-2 all-time versus the Cadets.
Freshman Justin Stoll earned his first career start in goal for the visiting Black Knights.
Junior Christian Nolasco replaced Stoll in the 57th minute.
Epps, the Patriot League's reigning Rookie of the Week, netted his team-leading third goal of the season. He now has three goals in his last two games.
Stoll finished with three stops in net.
Freshman Alex Grave de Peralta assisted on Epps' goal to mark his first career point.

TURNING POINT

Harr tallied the game-winning goal with a second left in regulation to give Marist the 2-1 lead that would stand as the eventual final score.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Harr put the Red Foxes on the board in the 71st minute on an assist from Beau Hornberger.
Epps knotted the match up at 1-1 with just 49 ticks on the second-half clock after finishing a pass from Grave de Peralta.
Harr netted his second of the game, and fifth of the season, after 89:59 of elapsed time to seal the victory for the hosts.
