Men's XC Back in Action at Paul Short Invitational
September 30, 2016 | Men's Cross Country
West Point, N.Y. – The Army West Point men's cross country team will attempt to improve on last week's performance by looking to capture another victory at the Paul Short Invitational.
The meet will take place at Lehigh's Murray H. Goodman Campus in Bethlehem, Pa.
"The Paul Short meet at Lehigh on Saturday will be a great test for our men's team," stated Director of Cross Country/Track and Field Mike Smith. "We are one of 41 teams in the gold race, which also features four teams ranked in the NCAA top 30 (Georgetown #8, Iona #16, Columbia #25, and Pennsylvania #26).  This meet will help our guys get ready for the championship meets that are coming in the next few weeks and will be a good measuring stick as to how we compare both regionally and nationally."Â
