Army Cross Country Releases 2026 Schedule

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point cross country unveiled its 2026 schedule, as announced by Army Athletics on Wednesday.
The Black Knights open the 2026 campaign with a dual against the University of Maine in Orono, Maine, on September 4, marking the sixth consecutive season the two teams have met to start the year.
Army will then head to the NJIT Highlander Invite in Newark, N.J., on Saturday, October 10, for the fourth straight season. In the previous three meetings, the Black Knights have swept the team titles in both the men's and women's races.
Army will face its service academy rival Navy on Saturday, October 17, in the annual Star Meet, part of the Star Series presented by USAA. This year's meet shifts to Annapolis, Md., after last season's contest at West Point, where the Army women claimed the star while the Army men fell to the Midshipmen in a narrow defeat.
The Patriot League Championships follow on Saturday, October 31, in Lewisburg, Pa. The Army women will look to defend a streak of three consecutive conference titles, while the men, runners-up a year ago, aim to climb back to the top of the standings.
Last fall, senior Charlotte Richman capped a historic season by winning the individual title at the Northeast Regional Championships to punch her ticket to the NCAA Championships — the first Army women's cross country runner to qualify for nationals.
